The 9000 Piece Puzzle

So I was sitting on my ass one day, browsing the internet, when I noticed I had no 9000 piece puzzles displayed on any of my apartment walls.

So I bought one!

Look at how shiny it is.

Behold, its insides!
They divided the puzzle into two halves! I thought this was for HARDCORE!! puzzle lovers. Whatever. Still won't mix them together. Yeah...

They even included a poster. In case you don't feel like further wasting your time, you can just hang that!

NOW, THE SORTING BEGINS. Have to find those edge pieces to boost my morale.

HOLY SHIT, TWO PIECES ALREADY STUCK TOGETHER STRAIGHT FROM THE BAG! I'll be done in no time at all!

My slave table. Gotta have a slave table for this.

I put each quarter on its own cardboard for ease of transport...

rolled them in some dirty smelly yoga mats...

and rolled myself a fat one.

Now putting the 4 pieces together at last!.

INITIATE WALL-MOUNTING PHASE!

Flip it, then roll it flat.

Glue some contact paper on the back to fix the pieces.

There goes 40 dollars...

Step two: Get some foam core board and a lot of contact cement.
( no pic yet)

UPDATE: DO NOT GLUE THIS TO FOAM CORE. FOAM CORE IS SHIT, IT NATURALLY STARTS TO BEND AFTER A COUPLE WEEKS. IT MADE HUGE CREASES IN MY PUZZLES AND I HAD TO REGLUE IT TO BOARD USING TILING CEMENT. THEN I FRAMED IT. GLUE THIS STRAIGHT TO WOOD OR PLASTIC OR WHATEVER ISN'T FOAM CORE.

Step three: Start huffing those contact cement fumes.

Then glue the foam core to the back of the puzzle!
