So, nice month is done now.

How did I do? Well there's no real way to measure it. I didn't do so well in my opinion, but it's hard! Went all month without swearing or insulting people or things. At least that I can remember. At any rate, I had cut back heavily on that. The articles I wrote here during nice month were actually written before, so any curse words in those were not part of this. HAH LOOPHOLED!

This month was Pico day, the annual newgrounds.com meetup. I tried real fucking hard to be more sociable this year. Being sociable is anti-me, it almost physically hurts me. It's just how I've always been ever since I was a little kid. Anyway, I brought everyone some delicious Canadian candy:

I didn't manage to keep it together for the entire time though. On the last day and the ride back I was pretty broken. STILL. DOn't think anyone noticed. Mwahaha. Plus I could drink this year so it was easier.

As for the other stuff that month? I smile so little except when I'm laughing that my mouth isn't used to it. It's weird. I tried forcing smiles all month just at home alone and my mouth would shake, it was bumming me out more. A couple times when dealing with strangers I made a special effort to banter a little more, smile and appear nicer / more happy. I think it made a difference. People are heavily drawn towards positivity, even if it comes from an idiot.SOMETHING TO REVISIT.

As for the things from 59 Seconds: Think a Little, Change a Lot, I did like ... half. This includes stuff like swinging your arms more and sitting up straight. As the books says "For some, depression is genetic and there's nothing you can do about it". I don't think I can force myself to be happy, it really ANNOYS THE FUCK OUT OF ME. I'm not happy unless I actually accomplish something or solve what I'm unhappy about. Btw if you're the kind of person who has to be with positive people because you can't deal with depressed / negative persons then congrats you weak fuck, you might be discriminating based on a genetic condition! How does that make you feel? Most of those same people are the ones who are most against racism and gender inequality. Morons.

Anyway, Nice Month didn't particularly improve my life and it's definitely not worth all the trouble. I don't think I can force myself to be happy the same way I force myself to be in shape.
