Resolutions Part 2: Go to Sleep!

I've decided to do a 12 step program this year. Each month, make a new lifestyle change until it all adds up at the end of the year. The key to success is to start small and have a plan. Follow along with me and make your life better! Or at least, more interesting.

Resolution 1: Eat Healthier
Resolution 2: GO TO SLEEP!
Resolution 3: Count Money!
Resolution 4: 59 Seconds
Resolution 5: Follow Politics
Resolution 6: Do Fitocracy Quests
Resolution 7: Get Six Pack
Resolution 8: Shhhh It's a secret
Resolution 9: No More Binging
Resolution 10: Saving Money
Resolution 11: Promote my Dumbass Site!
Resolution 12: A New Food Every Day!

GOAL 2: KEEP A REGULAR SLEEP SCHEDULE

I work at home. I have no family, no school or usually anywhere to be. This means that there is no reason for me to ever go to sleep if I don't want to. Since I'm a poo, this is exactly what I've gotten into the habit of doing over the last few years. I have been living on a 28 hour day for all this time so you never know when I'm awake or not and this creates problems when I actually do have to show up somewhere at a set time; it means I have to either stay up way way too long or skip a bunch of sleep. Frankly I'm sick of it. The novelty of being completely free to sleep and wake up when I please has worn off and I need to instill some discipline back into my life so it's easier on me and everyone else!

RULES. SO YOU CAN DO IT TOO!

=== I must be in bed and trying to sleep by 1am, preferably at around 11pm.
=== I have to be out of bed before 11am.

Exceptions: When I'm with other people.

Wow, this is way too easy, right? Well you wouldn't think so if you had just spent 3+ years waking up at any random time in the day. Did you ever have to go to a dentist appointment after sleeping only an hour, or after being awake for 30? All it takes is one night of watching movies until 5am to completely destroy a good sleep routine for weeks.

You wouldn't think it, but there's actually 24 hours in a day no matter when you get to go to sleep!
