Let me tell you something about life. Sometimes the best way to meet someone for the first time is to have them come over to your kitchen to make cupcakes and then proceed to laugh at those cupcakes.

Unfortunately this time I was too busy baking / laughing / training a t-rex to juggle chainsaws to take the usual amount of pictures... AND FOR THAT I AM TRULY SORRY. My only consolation is that I got to eat these and you didn't.

But at least you can see the recipe and ingredients!

Now the first thing to do before baking anything is always to candy a full package of bacon.

Just line a baking tray with foil and place the bacon so that the pieces don't touch each other. That would be too sexual. Then sprinkle a generous amount of brown sugar on top and put this in the oven at 400f for 15 mins. Then flip the strips, put some sugar on the other side and slide them back in the oven until they're done ( 15 mins probably).

But we added some bacon to it. I suggest making the bacon pieces larger rather than smaller to enhance DA TASTE.

You can't tell from the pictures but we got real tricky with this. We whipped up a batch of vanilla pudding and dyed it green...

REMEMBER??

Just cut the top off the cupcakes with a knife then pour a tablespoon of pudding inside the cupcake before putting the top back on. It's so worth it, it's fucking delicious.

Just pour that into piping bags ( or ziploc bags with the corner cut off) and spread that shit over your cupcakes once they're nice and cooled down.

Then you get to decorate this. We used mostly marzipan and food coloring to make the masks. Melted dark chocolate for the sweet mustaches and plain old white icing for eyes etc.

I don't want to brag but yeah if this whole artist thing doesn't pan out, I don't think I'll have any trouble getting hired to make people's wedding cakes with THESE bad boys on my resume:
