So I've always wanted to see good movies, as opposed to most people who want to only see bad movies. Knowing that the Oscars are dealt out to anyone who makes a self-fellating tear-jerker about any random true story, I knew I couldn't rely on those to pick what movies to watch. So I decided to turn to the internet! The internet has never failed me. So enter imdb's top 250.

The FIRST thing you notice right off the bat is the glaring lack of comedies. Apparently, funny movies can't be good! So this tells us instantly that the list was hand-crafted by the stupidest, most impressionable sacks of opinionless drones who roam the net. Any movie that contains a betrayal or some sob-story gives raging boners to these emotional succubi.

The rest of the list seems to contain nerd-picks like Scarface, Batman, Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. Which I guess is still cool. And you can't help but notice Rocky, dangling from the ledge at number 242. Like hell a piece of crap like Donnie Darko beats Rocky.

So now I must begin the laborious process of watching every last movie on this list so I can finally know for myself that I was right all along to think it was shitty. As usual, I'll be right about most of these but if I'm lucky, a few gems will pop in and make my days better. I sure know I never expected Shawshank Redemption to roundhouse me in the face with its greatness. And after I'm done, hopefully this list will stand in some dirty corner of the internet and I'll help like 2 people not waste their time watching some boring black and white drama about dames or cappers or whatever shit.
