What's the worst thing you can order at each of the top food chains in the USA?
Here's the list I decided to use.

So here's a top40 based on the information and menus available on their websites.

Also I realize not all the portions are equal size. Boohoo
And I know that some items you'd eat a lot of like slices of pizza or chicken wings aren't accounted for. I'm looking for the largest amount of calories per single item you can order.
And yeah this isn't a fast-food restaurant list only, so that means I'm sometimes comparing a single burger with a whole plate of crap. It's sort of unfair but it's always something a single person is supposed to be able to eat. I know I could eat any one thing on this list easily.

So what have we learned here?

1- Stay away from appetizer platters
2- Don't eat any desserts or shakes EVER
3- It's possible to make a normal enough burger with more calories than a 9inch meat pizza
4- Don't eat out.

You have no idea how many calories are in the desserts typical restaurants will serve you. Order that piece of cake and you're looking at 500-1200 extra calories. That is FUCKED UP. And YOU WILL EAT IT DAMN IT, YOU KNOW YOU WILL!!
