Had one of the worst nights ever... I had to walk back to my apartment in Montreal. Of course I didn't really know where I was going as I was pretty drunk. About 20 minutes in, my MP3 player gave out on me. There was snow and freezing rain the whole time and I didn't have anything to cover my head. I hadn't eaten anything in 10 days and was carrying a big 1 litre empty bottle of beer I had bought at a bar earlier. It was from Yukon and it cost 30 bucks so I really wanted to get it home as a souvenir. It was midnight. It was so cold. I walked 3 hours. I was lost several times, there was no one on the streets but me. I had to ask directions at 2 closed gas stations and about 1 hour in I got a blister on my foot. The 24 hours McDonald's wasn't open and when I tried to ask directions from a couple in some car they got scared of me and tried to speed off. What the hell? Assholes. I had to yell my question at them.

I was so tired because I was supposed to go to sleep 8 hours before. I dropped my bottle on the street while jumping some cement road block and it broke. I cut myself trying to get most of it in my pocket and then peeling the label off. It wouldn't come off.

There were times where there were huge gusts of wind that chilled me to the bone and I seriously felt like I could just die right there in the snow, lost. I had magazines in my pocket that I bought earlier at a comic convention. They were completely soaked eventually and are now half-destroyed.

I walked 11 kilometers (7 miles). I've done 30 kilometers mountain hikes with a backpack before and I gotta say I'd rather do one of those again.

When I finally got home, my ears, fingers and legs were frozen. I didn't have any frostbite because it wasn't cold enough... must have been about 0-1 celcius since it was raining and snowing at intervals.

So that's gotta be worth something, right? 7 miles dead tired, drunk, in snow and freezing rain with soaked clothes at 2am...

And the worst part of all? It wasn't even too late for the subway. I could have taken the fucking subway.
I COULD HAVE TAKEN THE DAMN SUBWAY AAAAAR
